Greater Noida: On July 27, the Federation of RWA Greater Noida meeting was held in the Sector Beta-1 office. In the meeting, the discussion on the symbolic demonstration was held by the Greater Noida Authority. The seven demands put forth in the memorandum were prominent. The main demands are an increase in water bills, charges on garbage and negligence in the work of contractors etc. This meeting was chaired by Devendra Tiger. While Deepak Kumar Bhati took the responsibility of conducting it.
Warning of indefinite strike
The Federation had warned of an indefinite strike again after 15 days if no action was taken on the memorandum given during the symbolic demonstration held on 28 July. Now even after 10 days have passed, the Federation has decided to wait for 5 more days as no positive answer has been received. If no action is taken in these 5 days, then the Federation’s management executive will go to the sectors and societies and prepare the common people for a big movement and will hold a big indefinite dharna at the Greater Noida Authority.
Condemnation motion against key officials
Devendra Tiger says, “The Federation was constantly demanding a meeting with CEO Ravi Kumar NG and Additional Chief Executive Officer Lakshmi VS, but postponing the meeting time and insulting the RWA by both the officials is highly condemnable. Therefore, a censure motion was unanimously passed in the meeting in written form against both the officials. Such behavior with social workers is extremely unfortunate.”
