Noida: The Secretary of NOFAA and General Secretary of Exotica Fresco AOA, Surojit Dasgupta, met Krishna Karunesh, CEO of Noida Authority, to discuss key civic and infrastructure issues concerning Sector 137.
During the meeting, the NOFAA delegation formally welcomed the newly appointed CEO. Surojit Dasgupta also submitted a letter forwarded by Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament, highlighting the urgent need to establish a public EV charging station in or around Sector 137.
Given the high residential density of the area and the rapid increase in electric vehicle ownership, the absence of adequate public charging infrastructure has become a significant concern for residents. The CEO assured that the matter would be examined seriously and appropriate steps would be considered.

Concern over incomplete Shubhkamna building
The issue of the long-pending and structurally deteriorating Shubhkamna Building in Sector 137 was also raised during the discussion. The abandoned structure is reportedly in a dilapidated condition and poses a potential safety risk to nearby residents.
Taking note of the seriousness of the matter, the CEO directed Work Circle 8 to conduct an immediate site inspection and assess the structural condition. He further assured that necessary action would be taken based on the inspection report.
The meeting is being seen as a significant step toward addressing infrastructure gaps and safety concerns in Sector 137.
