The NIOS has warned against these fraudulent websites. The released notice reads,
“It has come to the notice of the National Institute of open schooling (NIOS) that some fake websites and Apps have provided misleading information about NIOS. The home pages and other content copy from original website for fraudulent intention.”
The NIOS further clarified that all information regarding the NIOS is made available only at the official website, which can be accessed through the URL- https://nios.ac.in
Further, if a user comes across any website which replicates the content of the original NIOS website, can report via an email to sap@nios.ac.in.
