NCERT Recruitment 2023: Exam dates released for Assistant and LDC posts at ncert.nic.in; Admit card to be released soon



The National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT), has released the exam date for the multiple posts of Assistant and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) on its official website- https://ncert.nic.in.
In the notification published recently, the NCERT has scheduled the recruitment exam in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for both the advertised posts, to be held on October 19, 2023.
The NCERT had advertised a total of 347 vacancies for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Assistant. The admit cards for the exam are expected to be released soon.
Exam details
The NCERT recruitment exam is scheduled to be held on October 19 in two shifts.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) exams are scheduled for shift 2, from 12:30 PM to 2.30 PM. Meanwhile, the written exams for Assistant positions will take place during shift 3, specifically from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. It’s important to note that LDC posts will have a duration of 120 minutes, while the Assistant posts will have a 150-minute duration.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for the NCERT Recruitment 2023 Exam for Assistant and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) positions, candidates must adhere to the following eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualification: For Assistant roles, candidates should have successfully completed their 12th standard education with a minimum of 60% marks overall and demonstrate proficiency in computer operation.
For LDC positions, a 10th standard qualification is necessary, with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate, along with proficiency in computer operation.
Age Limit: Applicants aspiring for Assistant positions must be between 18 and 30 years of age as of October 4, 2023. For LDC roles, candidates’ age should fall within the age range of 18 to 25 years as of October 4, 2023.
Upon successfully clearing the NCERT Recruitment 2023 Exam for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) position, candidates will step into a role encompassing various responsibilities, such as record maintenance, efficient document filing and dispatch, proficient typing and word processing, and active assistance to senior officials in their day-to-day tasks.
For the assistant position, their job profile will involve providing vital administrative support to senior officials. This support includes handling correspondence and communication with precision, managing demanding schedules and appointments, skillfully drafting reports and presentations, and actively participating in the execution of diverse projects and initiatives.
