In the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, Dr Mahesh Sharma got a total of 8,57,829 votes. At the same time, Mahendra Nagar, the candidate from India Alliance, got 2,98,357 votes in second place. BSP candidate Rajendra Solanki got 2,51,615 votes at number three. Overall, Dr Mahesh Sharma won by a margin of 5,59,472 votes.
