Greater Noida: Panic has gripped residents after yet another fire incident at Migsun Ultimo society in Omicron. Repeated fire outbreaks have raised serious concerns about fire safety systems in the high-rise complex, with residents alleging negligence despite earlier warnings.
Fire breaks out again on Wednesday morning
On Wednesday, around 6 am, smoke was seen emanating from a flat through the AC vents in the balcony. Residents nearby noticed the smoke and rushed to the spot. The flat was locked at the time as the occupants were away. When the residents arrived, they found that a bedroom inside the flat had caught fire. The situation quickly worsened as the room filled with dense smoke.
Residents forced to break open the door
With no immediate help, residents decided to break open the door and attempt to control the fire themselves.
By the time we reached, the fire had spread significantly. There was heavy smoke inside the room, but there was no obvious flammable material that could explain the fire.

Fire alarm system fails again
A major lapse was revealed during the incident. The society’s fire alarm system did not function.
If the alarm had worked, the situation could have been controlled earlier and damage minimised. This is not the first such failure. Complaints regarding faulty fire safety systems have been raised multiple times earlier, but no effective action has been taken by the management.

Flat filled with smoke, heavy damage reported
The flat was completely filled with smoke. The entire room has been damaged. I have a video that clearly shows how severe the fire was.

Parking chaos delays the fire brigade
The incident also exposed serious issues with parking management within the society. Residents alleged that open spaces meant for emergency access have been converted into parking areas. Due to this, the fire brigade faced difficulty reaching the spot. The fire tender had to wait for nearly an hour for the way to be cleared, which could have worsened the situation.
Third fire incident in a month
This is the third fire incident reported in Migsun Ultimo in the past one month. Earlier, fires had broken out in Sun-2 Tower on the 14th floor and in Flat No. 505. Repeated incidents have created fear among residents, who say they no longer feel safe living in the society.
Fire department response and builder silence
As per the Fire officer the team reached the spot promptly after receiving information, but by then the fire had largely been controlled.
A case had already been registered earlier against the society for violating fire safety norms.

No answer from the Director
Attempts to contact Migsun Group Managing Director Yash Miglani did not get any response. Calls and messages went unanswered, while a representative from the PR team asked the media to route queries through them instead.
