Greater Noida: Tension escalated in Greater Noida after residents of Migsun Ultimo protested against the alleged disconnection of electricity in several flats following a dispute over maintenance charges. The incident led to a heated situation inside the society, as affected residents raised objections and demanded the restoration of the power supply.
Residents say facilities are missing and payments withheld
According to residents, many households had stopped paying maintenance charges due to the alleged lack of basic services and incomplete facilities in the society. Residents claim that despite repeated complaints about maintenance issues, no satisfactory action was taken by the management. In protest, several residents decided to withhold maintenance payments until services improved.
Electricity supply reportedly cut to over 50 flats
Residents alleged that the society management responded by disconnecting electricity supply to more than 50 flats. The move triggered strong reactions from affected families who claimed that cutting power in residential apartments is unfair and creates serious inconvenience, especially for children and elderly residents.
Residents protest inside the society
After the power supply disruption, residents gathered inside the society premises and protested against the action. Many demanded that electricity be restored immediately and called for a transparent resolution of the maintenance dispute. The situation reportedly turned tense for some time as residents confronted representatives of the society management.
Demand for resolution and restoration of services
Residents have urged the developer or management to resolve the issue through dialogue rather than punitive actions such as power cuts. They also demanded proper maintenance, completion of pending facilities and fair communication with apartment owners.
The situation remains a matter of concern for many families in society as they seek a quick resolution and restoration of essential services.
