
Noida: Sector-107 witnessed a mesmerising evening as the Foundation for Krishna Kala and Education Society hosted the grand Megh Malhar Festival. Dedicated to the monsoon season and the worship of nature, the festival beautifully blended Indian classical dance and music, leaving the audience spellbound.
The event was directed and choreographed by renowned Kathak danseuse Dr. Anu Sinha. Under her guidance, around 40 artists performed on stage, captivating everyone with their graceful and soulful presentations.
Highlights of the festival
- Classical music based on the ragas Megh and Miyan Malhar filled the atmosphere with devotion and serenity.
- Expressions of rain came alive through Bharatanatyam, Odissi, and Kathak dance forms.
- The vivid imagery of trees, leaves, and forests was depicted through Odissi and contemporary dance, symbolising the importance of nature.
- The performances not only celebrated the beauty of the monsoon but also conveyed a deeper message of reverence for nature as a living, divine force.
