Mayfair Residency: The Landlord kept requesting to allow his tenant to reach the flat, Maintenance did not allow tenant to enter the society

Greater Noida West: Residents living in Mayfair Society are protesting every alternate day for their basic rights. Residents have alleged many times that the Mayfair builder is cheating people in the name of basic facilities. The builder who was already flouting the rules and regulations is now making such rules for the flat owners, after which the people who bought the flats here are also troubled.

What is the whole matter?

Tenants of two different flats in Mayfair Society were forced to get drenched in rain with their belongings but they were not given entry into the society. Whereas both the tenants had taken the flat on rent as per the rules. When the aggrieved tenants complained about this at the Nirala Estate Chowki, the builder started teaching the tenants about the rules of RERA. Despite the pressure from the police, the builders’ goons did not allow the tenants to enter the society, after which the tenants had to return in frustration.

This is the argument of the flat owner

Prashant Mishra, landlord of the flat, who belongs to Ghaziabad city says, “I had bought a flat in Mayfair Society one and a half years ago flat number is A-203. I had rented my flat through a broker when the tenant reached the flat to live there, he was not given entry. Whereas the tenant had taken the flat on rent as per the procedure.”

The builder’s henchmen made the tenants stand outside for hours

According to Prashant Mishra, since the time he got the flat, he has paid the entire maintenance charge to the builder. The flat has been rented, and he has also got its possession, despite this, the builder is not allowing his tenant to enter. The builder’s henchmen made the tenants stand outside for hours. In the end, when the tenants did not get any help from the police, they had to return with their belongings in despair.

When there is possession, why no entry?

When the police team reached the spot on the complaint of the victim, they also asked the officials of the maintenance department why the tenants were not being allowed entry. On which the maintenance department said that they have an instruction that no one will be allowed entry until possession is obtained. Now the question is why those flat owners who have already got possession are not being allowed entry. A flat owner said that the builder owes Rs 78 lakh to RERA, so why should the flat owner pay the compensation? Now the builder wants to forcibly collect it from the flat owners.

‘Tenants and owners are being harassed’

Vedprakash, the broker of another tenant, said that people ask us for rent from the portal, Ved Prakash got a flat for one such tenant in Mayfair Society on August 1 and shifted him there. He said that the owner of this flat lives abroad. Ved Prakash said that he even showed the mail to the owner to the maintenance department. Despite this, the maintenance department is not letting him go inside. Vedprakash accused the maintenance manager and said that he was deliberately harassing people.
