NEW DELHI: Pearson Education Inc. has opened the registration window for the LSAT India 2024 on its official website – Interested and eligible candidates can register for the January and May 2024 sessions.
The LSAT India 2024 will be held in two sessions: January and May. For those aiming to participate in the January 2024 session, the registration window remains open until 10 January 2024. The process of exam scheduling can be completed between December 10, 2023 and January 12, 2024. To aid candidates in their preparations, a system readiness check and mock test are available from December 17, 2023 to January 16, 2024. These resources ensure that candidates are well-prepared to tackle the actual LSAT India 2024 examination, which is scheduled to take place on January 20-21, 2024. However, the precise release date for scorecards is yet to be determined.
Alternatively, for those considering the May 2024 session, the registration deadline is set for May 2, 2024. The system readiness check and mock test for the May session are scheduled to run from March 29 to May 12, 2024. The LSAT India 2024 exams for this session will be held from May 16 to 19, 2024. Like the January session, the release date for scorecards for the May session is pending confirmation.
LSAT India, which stands for Law School Admission Test India, is a vital examination conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). It serves as a gateway for students aspiring to secure admission into 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB, and LLM courses offered by some of the top private law colleges in India.
The LSAT India 2024 will be a computer-based test. The test will be divided into three sections, each designed to evaluate various skills essential for success in the field of law. These sections include Analytical Reasoning, comprising 23 questions to be tackled within 35 minutes; Logical Reasoning (1) and (2), each containing 22 and 23 questions, respectively, with a time allocation of 35 minutes for each section; and Reading Comprehension, consisting of 24 questions to be completed within 35 minutes. In total, candidates will face 92 questions during the examination, and they will have 2 hours and 20 minutes to showcase their abilities and knowledge.
The LSAT India 2024 score will be used by law schools in India to assess the academic qualifications of prospective students. The scores will be valid for five years.
