A community feast (bhandara) was organized, featuring poori, kadhi and rice, as well as several other traditional dishes. In the evening, a Goa band performed and a dhunuchi dance added to the cultural vibrancy. More than 4,000 people enjoyed the celebrations.

Unity in Diversity

The festival also functioned as a bridge between communities, bringing together Bengali and non-Bengali participants. Traditional performances like garba and folk dance added colour to the event.
