Greater Noida: A serious case of alleged negligence has surfaced from a private school by name Little Nurture School in Greater Noida, where a pre-nursery student sustained an injury near his eye. The child’s parents have accused the school management of hiding crucial information about the incident and refusing to provide CCTV footage. The matter has sparked anger among parents and raised fresh concerns about safety inside private schools.

Incident details: What happened inside the school?

According to the written complaint submitted to Beta-2 Police Station, the child Anant Mishra, aged 3.7 years, studying in Pre-Nursery (NS-26), was injured around 12:30 PM. When the family reached the school, they reportedly found the child with:

  • A bleeding injury near the eye for 15–20 minutes
  • Additional scratch marks around the eye area

The parents allege that the school administration failed to give a clear explanation of how the injury occurred.

CCTV footage withheld, Staff unavailable

The complaint letter states several serious allegations:

  • The staff responsible for providing CCTV footage was not available.
  • School authorities allegedly claimed that the related CCTV footage had been “deleted.”
  • The school management did not provide proper information about the incident and allegedly tried to downplay the injury.

Parents believe the school is deliberately suppressing evidence and trying to avoid accountability.

No response from the Principal or the Teachers

The complainant further states that the principal, teachers, and administrative staff failed to show any responsibility toward the safety of the children. Despite multiple complaints in the past, the school has allegedly not taken corrective measures to improve safety on campus.

Parents say:

  • The school showed no seriousness toward the child’s physical or emotional well-being.
  • The management did not provide timely updates or clarity on the incident.

The child was mentally disturbed after the incident

Following the injury, the child was taken to a nearby hospital by the parents.
The father claims:

  • The child is fearful and emotionally disturbed after the incident.
  • He is avoiding food and remains anxious, which has increased the family’s concern.

Parents to submit a complaint to DM and the Police

Unsatisfied with the school’s response, the family is preparing to submit a formal complaint to:

  • District Magistrate (DM), Gautam Budh Nagar
  • Local Police (Beta-2 Police Station)

The complaint demands:

  • Preservation of the CCTV footage of 27 November 2025
  • A proper investigation
  • Accountability of the school management and staff

Mother’s spine chilling incident explanation

Garima Mishra, the mother of the injured child, explains that on the very first day when she went to pick up her son from school, he was not coming out despite repeated requests. After she complained multiple times and urged the teachers to bring him out as it was getting too late, her son finally appearedm shrieking, crying uncontrollably and visibly terrified. The teachers were holding his hand, and she immediately noticed a deep cut near his eye, blood on his face and signs that he had been badly beaten. The staff asked her to “stay normal,” but she rushed him to Apollo Hospital, where doctors questioned how he got the injury, whether he fell and if he had vomited : Suvh questions she couldn’t answer because the school had provided no information. When she asked for the CCTV footage, the school refused, claiming a “technical issue,” and later said the footage could only be retrieved from 2–3 days prior. Garima says she is now in complete dilemma, unsure whether her son was beaten by a teacher or another child and the boy has stopped eating out of fear. She also expressed shock that the school staff was so inhuman that no one even accompanied her to the hospital.
