Kanhaiya Kumar Meets CM Kejriwal, Discusses INDIA Bloc’s Strategy for LS Polls in Delhi

On Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Kanhaiya Kumar, the Congress’ candidate for North East Delhi, met to talk on the INDIA bloc’s strategy for the next Lok Sabha elections in the nation’s capital.

After meeting with Kejriwal, who was freed from Tihar jail on temporary bail two days earlier, Kumar stated on X that the people of Delhi are “eager to take revenge of jail through their votes.”

The Congressman wrote in Hindi that he had “met Delhi Chief Minister and INDI Alliance colleague Arvind Kejriwal and apprised him of the election activities of North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency and discussed the upcoming strategy of the alliance.”

“Together, we will topple the dictatorship and install a fair government in the nation,” he continued.

Kejriwal was given temporary bail by the Supreme Court on May 10 to campaign in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections until June 1.

On May 25, the sixth phase of voting will take place for seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

The Congress, an ally of the AAP in the INDIA bloc, is running for seats in Chandni Chowk, North East Delhi, North West Delhi, and South Delhi, while the AAP has fielded candidates in East Delhi, South Delhi, West Delhi, and New Delhi.
