Independence Day : Sector 51 DDRWA celebrated in great fervour and zeal

Noida: On the morning of August 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at Children’s Park, Sector 51, led by DDRWA Federation President, N.P. Singh. The event honoured and remembered India’s great freedom fighters whose sacrifices and courage brought independence from British rule.

In his address, Singh spoke about the importance of freedom and also highlighted various civic issues in Noida. He welcomed the recent Supreme Court order addressing the stray dog problem and expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Court, stating that this decision would help ensure a more peaceful life for residents of Delhi, Noida, and the NCR. He remarked that the stray dog menace is among the world’s major issues, and with this legal intervention, a resolution is now within reach.

Today was a day to salute the bravery, courage, and valour of our freedom fighters. It is for this day that they fought a long and arduous battle for independence.

The event was attended by DD RWA Federation Vice President Sanjeev Kumar, Vice President Anil Khanna, all members of the DD RWA Managing Committee, Sector 51 President Anil Ranhotra, Sector 51 Vice President Pawan Sharma, the Sector 51 Managing Committee team, and several residents.
