Greater Noida West: In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and community service, members of the ‘Saathi Haath Badhaana’ helping group in Greater Noida West extended a hand of support to underprivileged children by distributing umbrellas and slippers at a local school.
The initiative was organised to protect children from the ongoing monsoon rains, which have caused waterlogging and muddy streets across the region. Most of the children attending the school walk barefoot and lack necessities like footwear and rain gear, making their daily commute not only difficult but also a health risk.
The continuous rains pose a real threat to the children’s health. Getting drenched or walking barefoot through muddy roads can lead to infections. That’s why we decided to provide umbrellas to keep them dry and slippers to protect their feet.

This noble initiative highlights the importance of community-driven efforts in building a more compassionate society. In a world often divided by boundaries, it is acts of selfless service like these that remind us of our shared humanity.
The ‘Saathi Haath Badhaana’ group has been consistently supporting those in need for several years. Whether it’s distributing food, clothes, or essential items, their motto remains simple: Help when you can. Because even the smallest help can bring the biggest hope.
