Dog Menance: Amidst the frequent dog biting cases, this one comes from Radha Sky Garden

Greater Noida West: When everyone is still searching for measures to curb and control the attacks of stray dogs, in between all this, again a dog bites a kid while playing inside the society premises. The residents are full of anger after this incident and the question is when will this stop? This has turned into a very serious problem.

Know what happened exactly

In Radha Sky Garden, unlike any other society of Greater Noida West, Stray dogs are continuously attacking the children and residents. Satya Prakash Yadav, who tried his best to save the child explains, ” At around 8 pm on October 13, 2023, there was a fatal attack on a child while he was cycling. Many children were playing in the park at that time. As he was going towards the club, all of a sudden, a pack of dogs almost 8-10 came and surrounded him. Dogs barked him, growled him and he started shouting and crying for help. From all over the society people ran to save him.

Residents tried to help, but the dog bit him
Manoj Kakkar a senior resident, Satya Prakash Yadav and Mohit Gaur were sitting and as they heard the shrill cry they ran to save him. As they ran, all the dogs escaped but one dog was adamant and bit the child.

Residents allege that “We take this matter seriously and appeal to the Society’s maintenance team to take action to resolve the situation as soon as possible.”

Maintaince ‘is doing nothing’

Residents are angry as the maintenance is doing nothing. Satya Prakash says, “There are so many stray dogs inside the society. Guards are unable to stop them. We have complained them so many times, but they do not care to safeguard our kids and residents.”

Residents are furious and worried that what is happening

After this, Residents of Greater Noida West showed their worries and raised concerns about why these cases are not taken seriously by the authorities and administration.

Dipankar asks, “We are expecting Greater Noida Authority to do something about these stray dogs. The number is just multiplying from double to triple. When will authority take a valid step which helps us and our kids are safe.”

G.S Verma says, “Very horrible dog biting cases are increasing in the societies and residents have been helpless before the laws laid down in favour of dogs and dog lovers who are enjoying by getting a handsome money through NGO without caring the lives of peoples of the country. Whether the animals are more important than human beings. So it’s a matter of great concern to save the lives of human beings as well as animals together in coexistence in the society.”

Mihir Gautam says, “The problem is serious and we will have to raise our voice together for a solution. It won’t happen in a day but if we make continuous efforts then the problem will be solved.”
