Greater Noida West: Increasing pollution has made it difficult for people to even leave their homes. The situation is such that schools and colleges are closed and work from home is being done in offices also. People are surrounded by respiratory problems.

Given this, the government has also taken major steps and banned the entry of BS4 diesel and BS3 petrol cars in Delhi NCR. Along with this, NGT has also given orders to cover the material at construction sites. The odd-even rule for driving cars is also being implemented in Delhi from October 13.

Due to increasing pollution, the bursting of firecrackers on Diwali has now been banned by the Supreme Court not only in Delhi NCR but in whole India. There is also a ban on the sale of green firecrackers but an opposite scene is being seen. Firecrackers are being sold openly in Noida and especially in Greater Noida West. For this, the vendors are no longer seeing the need for shops and every week these vendors are sitting in the roadside vegetable markets with firecrackers and selling them openly.
The sale of these firecrackers can be seen openly from Paramount Emotions, just 500 meters away from Bisrakh police station in Greater Noida, to the vegetable market in front of the Trident Embassy.
The same condition was seen in the vegetable market located just behind the Ace City post of Bisarkh. When these sellers were asked if there is a ban on the sale of these firecrackers and how they are selling them, their answer was also shocking. He said that this is the time when we can earn something, we don’t know what kind of stop, people are buying and we are selling.
In the shops where firecrackers are sold, earlier the shopkeeper had to obtain a license, but this time there is a ban on firecrackers, so what to talk about the license?
What is completely banned is that vegetable and fruit vendors are openly selling it on the streets under the guise of vegetables and fruits. When the Apartment Times correspondent questioned this, four people stood up to fight and citing their poverty asked them to leave.
Police under question
The police are also under the scanner regarding the sale of firecrackers happening right under the nose of the police station. Questions also arise regarding the patrolling done by the police. However, the police have said that action will be taken in this regard.
According to the police, there was no information about this case till now. When Vinay Bahadur, in charge of the Ace City outpost under Bisrakh police station, was talked to in this regard, he said that if someone is doing this secretly then it is a legal offence and immediate action will be taken against it. Vinay said that under this, checking has been started immediately and the accused are being caught.
