Greater Noida West : The terror of criminals is increasing rapidly in Greater Noida West. Nowadays incidents of robbery have become common in Greater Noida West. There is hardly a week in which criminals have not committed a crime. Due to this, the people of Greater Noida West are very angry and upset.
People have started thinking if they have made a mistake by coming here !
Here robbery happens openly. The bigger problem is that the police does not register a case so that the robbery incident does not come to light.
Tea shops and Dhabas have become opportunities for criminals
Babita Jha, Resident, Gaur City 2, says, “Crime is increasing due to shops being open at night. Tea shops and Dhabas on the street corner remain open all night. Crime is increasing due to these shops. After complaining, the shops were closed for a few days, but they have started again. Despite paying maintenance worth lakhs of rupees in Gaur City, there is no security personnel at the gate. To stop crime, the police will have to make a new plan and close the shops that are open at night.”
Need to avoid wearing jewellery in the market
Rashmi Pandey, President of Gautam Buddha Nagar Vikas Samiti, says, “Women need to be more aware of their safety. Wearing gold or shiny jewellery in the market and streets attracts criminals, which increases the incidents of robbery. Women should not wear gold or shiny jewellery while going to the market or street. Artificial jewellery can also be attractive, so one should avoid wearing these too. Women should wear simple clothes and jewellery on the street or even in the market so that they do not attract the attention of criminals. Always be alert and keep an eye on the people and activities around you.”
She continues, “If you see any suspicious person or activity, be alert immediately. Wherever possible, go with a companion instead of going alone to the market or street. Staying in a group increases security. Apart from this, the police should run regular campaigns to make women and the community aware. This will make people more cautious about safety.” Women also need to be alert”
Anita Prajapati says, “Vigilance is necessary from both sides. Along with the general public, the police also has to be cautious. Times are not the same as before. People need to be cautious. When women go out, they should not talk to any stranger. Apart from this, the police also has to increase its vigilance. Police patrolling is very less at night. Police should increase patrolling in sensitive areas. Women also need to be alert.”
Checking sports bikes is necessary
Vijayta Pandey says, “Robbery incidents mostly happen at night, so the police should check two-wheelers at night. Especially those people should be targeted who drive sports bikes because most of the people who carry out robbery incidents use sports bikes. Police should be deployed at various places, apart from this, they also need to be deployed in civil dress.”
