A salute to service—Sachin Gupta receives IIPA honour for his tireless work in rejuvenating the Yamuna.
New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) has honoured Sachin Gupta, Director of YSS Foundation, for his exemplary contribution to water conservation and environmental protection, particularly his impactful efforts in Yamuna rejuvenation and cleanliness campaigns.
The recognition celebrates Gupta’s long-standing dedication to public awareness, citizen engagement and youth-led environmental action. Under his leadership, Yuva Shakti has successfully conducted more than 230 Yamuna cleanup drives, bringing together thousands of young volunteers, residents, organisations, and community groups. These sustained efforts have significantly improved several Yamuna ghats and strengthened mass awareness around water sustainability in the NCR.
Sachin Gupta’s work is a source of inspiration for today’s youth. He has transformed environmental conservation into a community movement. The nation needs dedicated young leaders like him.
