New Delhi: There is big and important news for people catching flights from Delhi Airport. Delhi Airport has issued a travel advisory for passengers on regarding the tension between India and Pakistan. After India’s strict action, Pakistan had demanded a ceasefire and just a few hours after the ceasefire, it again started firing and drone attack. Meanwhile, Delhi Airport has advised passengers to keep following official updates.
Know Delhi Airport's status
Delhi Airport has said in the advisory that due to tension between India and Pakistan, there may be changes in the flight schedule. Also, it may take a little more time at the security checkpoints. In a statement, Delhi Airport officials said that operations are continuing smoothly, but due to changing airspace dynamics and high-security protocols imposed by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, flight schedules may change and security checkpoints may take longer.

Reach the airport on time
In the advisory issued by Delhi Airport, passengers have been advised to keep getting updates through their respective airlines. Follow the guidelines prescribed for cabin and check-in baggage. Reach the airport on time. Cooperate fully with the airline and security personnel. Also, keep checking the flight status through the airline or Delhi Airport website. 32 Airports closed temporarily
The Airports Authority of India and related aviation authorities informed that a total of 32 airports in northern and western India have been temporarily closed for all civil flight operations. This ban is effective till 14 May 2025 due to operational reasons as per Notice to Airmen (NOTAM). These 32 airports include Adampur, Amritsar, Ambala, Avantipur, Bhuj, Bikaner, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Halwara, Hindon, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kandla, Kangra (Gaggal), Keshod, Kishangarh, Kullu Manali (Bhuntar), Ludhiana, Mundra, Leh, Nalia, Pathankot, Porbandar, Rajkot (Hiraser), Sarsawa, Patiala, Shimla, Srinagar, Thois and Uttarlai airports.
