According to the latest industry data, the country’s top five electric car manufacturers collectively sold 32,214 units in July 2026, up from 32,162 units in June 2026. This translates to an impressive year-on-year growth of around 83%, highlighting the rapid adoption of electric cars in the country. JSW MG Secures Second Position: JSW MG ranked second among India’s top electric car manufacturers in July 2026, recording sales of 6,585 EVs. This marks a notable increase from 5,971 units sold in June, reflecting healthy month-on-month growth.

However, the company witnessed a month-on-month decline compared to June, when it sold 7,603 electric vehicles. Despite the drop in sales, Mahindra managed to retain its position among the top three EV manufacturers in India, supported by the growing popularity of its electric SUV lineup.
