Greater Noida West : The residents of Gulshan Bellina witnessed a heartwarming conclusion to the Sharadiya Navratri Festival as they celebrated the final rituals with devotion, unity and cultural fervor.

The festivities began with Kanya Poojan and Bhandara, where nearly 3,500 devotees, residents as well as visitors from nearby localities joined together to share prasad. The aroma of traditional delicacies and the spirit of togetherness filled the society lawns, turning the day into a true community celebration.

As the festival drew to a close, the women of the society gathered for the age-old tradition of Sindoor Khela. Draped in vibrant sarees, they applied vermillion to each other’s faces, seeking Maa Durga’s blessings for the happiness and prosperity of their families. Laughter, prayers, and emotions intertwined as children, women, and senior citizens all took part in the joyous ritual.

The evening soon turned poignant as the idol of Maa Durga was lifted for Visarjan at the ghat opposite Coco County, Sector 12. Amid rhythmic beats of the dhak, chants of “Bolo Durga Mai Ki Jai,” and devotional songs, the procession carried the goddess with reverence and love. The immersion marked not just a farewell, but also a promise of her return next year.
