The news is about Arihant Abode society in Sector 10, Greater Noida West. According to information received, a very concerning incident occurred in the society on Wednesday, which has worried parents. Reportedly, a young woman of around 25 years, who looked like she belonged to a respectable family, entered the society without any hindrance. The guards present at the spot did not pay much attention to her, assuming that she might be a resident of the society.
It is being reported that the young woman approached children playing in the park and started talking to them. She distributed chocolates to the children, played with them, and tried to lure them by saying that she had even more chocolates outside. According to eyewitnesses, she was also asking the children for their names and flat numbers. She was speaking in both English and Hindi.
According to CCTV footage, four children followed her to the main gate. During this, two children returned, while two continued moving forward with her. At that moment, Head Guard Nirali stopped the children and asked them to come inside. While the guard was talking to the children, the young woman got into an auto and left.
The young woman was wearing a black sweatshirt, black-gray framed glasses, and had a ‘Boldfit’ branded bag that was reported to be filled with chocolates. According to the children, while leaving, she said that she would come to meet them again.
After the incident, there was chaos in the society. Parents filed complaints, CCTV footage was examined, and the police were also informed. However, it is still not clear whether the RWA team has formally lodged a complaint with the police or not. Residents are demanding that the original CCTV footage be made public so that the woman can be identified.
According to information, the suspect girl was also seen entering the nearby Mapsko Casabella Society (near Sapphire 83). Thanks to the vigilance of the guard in time, a potential major incident was averted. The society’s residents are now demanding greater caution regarding the safety of children.
