Supertech Eco Village 1: Increasing theft cases are issue of concern, Residents need safety measures

Greater Noida West: In Greater Noida West the incidents of snatching are increasing continuously near the Supertech Ecovillage-1. There is no solution to the incidents of snatching. The police is unable to stop the chain-snatching back to back incidents. Therefore, the residents need to be careful. To avoid such an incident, women should go out of the house wearing less jewellery. They should be careful as soon as they leave the house.

An advisory has been issued for the residents on all WhatsApp groups of Eco Village One Society of Greater Noida West. The advisory issued states that the residents of the society have been asked to be ready to take care of their safety.

Police has issued the advisory

The advisory issued also states that in many cases the police hesitate in registering an FIR. They do assure to return the mobile and chain but the residents need not get misled by them. In any case, do register an FIR of the incident. At the same time, the residents say that the police had also issued an advisory a few days ago. In which people were also warned against cyber fraud.

Incidents are happening every day

According to the residents of the society, on Sunday morning at around 8:30, a woman resident of the society was going near gate number three. Then two miscreants on a bike tried to snatch the chain of the woman. Somehow the woman saved herself and shouted. After which the miscreants ran away. This information was shared on the WhatsApp group of the society.

Residents are terrified

The residents expressed concern over the increasing incidents of chain snatching around the society. After which an advisory has been issued on the WhatsApp group by Vijay Chauhan, the authorized representative of the buyers, to talk to the IRP in the society. In which it has been said that incidents of chain snatching have increased around the society. Two incidents have happened in the last few days.

Need to be very cautious

Residents have alleged that the police are not able to prevent crime. Therefore, residents need to be alert while walking on the road. In the advisory, women have been suggested to wear minimum jewellery while going out of the house.
