Don’t we deserve a peaceful sleep?
Residents are asking don’t we deserve to sleep peacefully? It’s been many days, the residents have to reach at last the streets or the nearest thana. Tuesday night too the residents spent it on the streets. The reason is only one – no electricity. There was a blackout in the society for several hours on Tuesday night too. Neither there was a main supply of NPCL nor did the society’s DG backup work. Troubled by the heat, residents complained against the builder in Bisrakh police station.
Satyaprakash Yadav and Gaurav Patel residents say, “Here is a DG backup in the society but it is not installed as per the capacity. Due to this, the DG set shuts down repeatedly in extreme summers. All the residents have paid a huge fee for setting up electricity infrastructure and DG backup, but even after 5-6 years of giving possession, the builder has neither purchased nor installed a DG of adequate load. The DG set installed in the society is also running on rent. Due to frequent tripping of DG sets, the safety of society residents is also being questioned. Many residents have been stuck in the lift due to DG backup tripping. The society often gets completely immersed in darkness and any untoward incident can happen in darkness.
