Protest for swimming pool: Panchsheel Hynish residents crying for the swimming pool, children feeling depressed

Greater Noida West: Greater Noida West is a premium locality, where there are huge skyscrapers and modern amenities, but people are suffering daily. This case is about the residents who protested because the swimming pool has not been operational since the society’s construction and it has been so many years that only hollow assurances are coming. This protest took place on Sunday, May 12th 2024.

Massive Protest for the demand of Swimming pool

The residents of Panchsheel Hynish, Greater Noida West organized a massive protest, their demand was just that they were yearning for the swimming pool to start for so long. Residents inform that it has been closed for years.

Along with this, residents also performed a symbolic demonstration by going inside the dry swimming pool and taking a bath by filling water in a bucket and mug.

No recreational facilities as promised by the builder

The builder of Panchsheel Hynish promised to provide a plethora of recreational facilities like a swimming pool, club and other facilities but nothing came to existence but just remains in the books.

Residents are filled with anger and huge dissatisfaction

Residents allege that they are severely angry because the neighbourhood societies’ swimming pools are operational and they can see people enjoying them. They say, “We have paid the full amount for all this, so why should we suffer?”

One parent says, ” It is highly depressing to see that our kids are sitting and gazing in nearby societies expecting that someday they will also swim, and nothing is happening only in Panchsheel.”

Reason of the swimming pool not being operational

Residents informed that there is a lot of repair work remaining in the swimming pool and there is no water filtration work ever been done. Due to this the swimming pool is closed. Therefore, to attract the attention of the builder, this demonstration was held today.
