Greater Noida West: It’s been more than 24 hours that residents of Panchsheel Hynish are waiting for water. They are forced to stand in long queues and fill buckets with water from tankers. This problem arised on June 20, 2024. The reason for this shortage is that the Greater Noida Authority’s Motor has broken down. Tankers are being sent by the authorities but not in sufficient quantity, due to which people are facing problems with water.
‘The authority’s motor is damaged, no hearing on the complaint’
Dheeraj Tripathi, Resident, Panchsheel Hynish informed Apartment Times that on June 20, 2024, morning, the motor of the pump house of the authority suddenly broke down. After which there is no water in the society. After repeated complaints, a tanker has been sent by the authority. But the tanker could not solve the water problem.
‘Water is not sufficient to meet the needs of our society’
Dheeraj Tripathi says, “The problem was immediately reported to the authority. Despite many complaints, the officials did not take the matter seriously. No action was taken till 5 pm on Thursday. After this, the authority sent only 14 tankers till 9 pm. This water was not enough to meet the needs of the society.”
13 hundred families live in the society
Dheeraj Tripathi said that about 5400 people from 1300 families live in the society. Due to the water problem, people are going to their relatives and friends’ houses.
Incapable AOA
Dheeraj Tripathi says that the AOA is incapable of solving the problems. our residents and society. The society AOA also does not pay attention to our outcries. The AOA team elected is helpless.
Residents are worried
Anonymous resident says, “It has not been told yet when the pump house motor will be repaired. This uncertainty is affecting our daily life. The society management said that they are constantly in touch with the authorities and are demanding a solution to the problem as soon as possible.”
