Greater Noida West: A big crisis has arisen in Panchsheel Greens-1, Greater Noida West. There is a shortage of electricity and water in the society. 6500 people have been affected from 6:30 am on Saturday, 06 July, 2024.
No action on the complaint
There is chaos in the community at this time. There are 18 towers in the society and around 6500 people live there. A complaint was made to the officers and responsible persons of Greater Noida Authority, but no action has been taken yet.
Power cut since around 6:30 am
Mayank Pratap, a Resident, Panchsheel Greens-1, says, “No electricity, No water in society, only chaos everywhere. After investigation, it has been found that there was a defect in the electricity transformer of the society. After which there is a power cut. Due to a lack of electricity, a generator (DG) was run, which spreads pollution and has a huge impact on the pocket of the common man. The charge for the generator is Rs 20 per unit. In such a situation, the residents are facing all kinds of problems.”
The electricity department had taken Rs 17,700 in the name of multipoint connection
Mayank Pratap further informs that, “I had given 80 thousand rupees to the builder in the name of all the facilities and fixed charges for electricity. The electricity department had taken Rs 17,700 in the name of multipoint connection. After that, the electricity department officials say that this is an internal matter of the society.“
The lift is not working in many towers of society
Residents say, “The fault is that of the AOA and the builder. The question arises that there has been no electricity in the society since around 6:30 in the morning, despite that, why has it not been fixed yet? It has been more than 8 hours since these things happened. That is why people have targeted the builder and the AOA.”
