Greater Noida West: Residents of Fusion Homes Greater Noida West raised their voices against the deduction of maintenance charges from the electricity meter by AOA. Residents have lodged a complaint of fraud against AOA at Bisrakh police station.
Deducting maintenance charges from electricity meters is against the rules of the Electricity Regulatory Commission.
Society residents allege that the AOA of the society took a unilateral decision and started deducting maintenance charges from the electricity meter. Residents allege that free electricity was provided for a few weeks or months by tampering with the electricity meters of many AOA members and close friends of AOA members.
‘Deduction without any meaning’
Prateek, a resident of Fusion Homes says, “A survey is being conducted on the society’s WhatsApp group and most of the residents are against the decision of AOA to deduct cam charges from the electricity meter without any meeting and any consent”.
‘Residents are not getting proper facilities’
Vivek, a resident of Fusion Homes says, “The term of the current AOA ended last month and just before that, the AOA took over the maintenance of the society from the builder. Neither maintenance of society is being done properly nor the residents are getting facilities. There are many pending works in the society which seem impossible to complete. On one hand, the security of the entire society is in danger, while on other, the AOA members have hired bouncers for their security at the expense of maintenance charges. Bouncers are used against any resident who raises his voice against the AOA.
AOA members resigned after Police complaint
The society residents have filed a complaint of fraud against the AOA in Bisrakh police station. Due to this step of the residents, many AOA members have resigned. According to the residents, the term of the current AOA ended last month. The residents hope that after filing a complaint against the AOA to the police and the authorities, corrective actions can be seen soon.
