Greater Noida West: Due to the air quality being in the very inferior category in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has banned people from coming to school and studying in all the schools of Gautam Buddha Nagar from today till November 10. The District Magistrate has issued an order in which it is written that physical classes will not be conducted from pre-school to class 9th. Instructions have been given by schools to conduct online studies.
Demand for work-from-home increased
The condition of air pollution in Greater Noida is worse, everyone is having trouble breathing. The fourth phase of GRAP is also applicable. Given all this, Gautam Budh Nagar District Magistrate has issued the model of closing physical classes in schools and running online classes. As soon as the general public came to know about this, they all heaved a sigh of relief.
Dinkar Pandey, a resident of Ajnara Homes says, “It is the festive season, rather than turning the classes online, they could have closed the schools. On the holy festival of Chhath, we and the children would come to our homes. We would be saved from pollution and would also get energy. Due to these online classes, the duty to sit with the children during online classes will fall on the parents.”‘

At the same time, this order has also awakened a ray of hope among the employed people of Noida that now work from home will be done.
Abhishek, a resident of Gaur Soundaryam, says, “I go to Gurugram every day at 6.30 in the morning, the office bus comes to pick me up, and there is so much fog and smoke that there is a fear of something untoward happening. We request that like the school, ours should also Work from home for a few days.”
Dr. Avnish Verma, who lives in Spring Meadows, says, “Pollution is increasing continuously these days. As soon as we step out of the house, we face facing burning sensation in the eyes and breathing problems. Sometimes even pain in the throat starts unless the pollution is controlled. By then, work-from-home should be implemented in all offices.”
Sameer Bhardwaj, who lives in Eco Village One says, “Work from home is very important, it should be done in companies where it can be done, my bad luck is that where I work, work cannot be done without coming to the office. But others should work from home, this will save us from pollution and if we stay at home, less oil will be burnt and pollution will be reduced.”
Anupam Mishra, Resident of Supertech Eco Village 1 says, ” Considering the current level of pollution, we should make necessary efforts to reduce pollution. If we can do our work from home then that employee should be allowed to work from home. At present, pollution is so dangerous that it has a very bad effect on health, hence we must work from home so that there is no impact on productivity due to bad health.
