This case is of Greater Noida West, where an educated man was so cleverly scammed by the petrol pump guy. The pump guy filled 41 litres of petrol in a Dzire car with a 37-litre full-capacity tank.
Know the whole matter
Ankit Mishra, a resident of Ajnara Homes, had gone to Anand Vihar Delhi for some work this morning. Where his Maruti Dzire car went to reserve. Ankit got his car’s tank filled at the nearest petrol pump Rama Service Station Anand Vihar. Ankit alleges that the petrol pump workers cheated him. Ankit informed Apartment Times that before this, whenever he got his car’s tank filled, the tank would get filled with 33-34 litres of petrol. But at this petrol pump, the workers filled 41 litres of petrol in the car and also gave a bill showing the same.
Matter in the hands of Police and Consumer forum
Ankit says that when the full tank capacity of the vehicle is only 37 litres, then how and where did the pump workers fill 41 litres of petrol? Instead of answering, the petrol pump manager rowdily drove him away from the petrol pump. Ankit has complained about the matter on the Public Grievance Portal and Consumer Forum.
