Greater Noida West: Residents of Ajnara Homes Society are facing a serious water problem for the last four days. Water is being supplied to the society for only three hours in 24 hours, due to which residents are facing a lot of trouble. Water supply was not resumed to the houses even on Tuesday morning, and water was supplied for one hour in the afternoon, but the water pressure was very low.
Water supply remains disrupted for 4-5 hours every day
Chandan Sinha, President, Ajnara Homes says, “There are 15 towers in the society and about 2,300 families live here. For the last four days, this water problem has affected the daily activities of the residents. Water supply remains disrupted for four to five hours every day in the society. Even if water comes, it comes only for an hour with low pressure.”
Responsibility of management and authority
Residents allege that they have complained to the management several times to solve this problem, but no concrete action has been taken. At the same time, the management says that the authority is responsible for this water problem. The management claims that the water pressure from the authority is very low, due to which the underground water tank is not able to be filled. A complaint has also been made to the authorities regarding this issue, but no solution has been found yet.
Residents are worried – What if the problem is not resolved
The residents of the society are worried that if the problem is not resolved soon, the situation may become even more serious. The lack of water is not only affecting their daily activities, but it is also affecting their health.
How will it be solved?
There is a lot of dissatisfaction among the residents regarding the water problem in Ajnara Homes Society. The ongoing allegations and counter-allegations between the management and the authority regarding owning of responsibility have further increased the problems of the residents. The residents demand that a permanent solution to this problem should be found as soon as possible so that they can get relief from water shortage.
