Greater Noida West: Residents of Aastha Greens Society, Greater Noida West, Sector-4, were on the streets this Sunday, May 12, 2024. They protested against the builder because they scuffling over maintenance issues like pending Occupation Certificate and Completion Certificate and registry.
No OC CC received to date
Residents say, “It has been a long time since we got possession of the flat but till now the OC-CC has not been received due to which the registry is stuck. The builder sets new deadlines and tells new stories every month. Apart from the registry, there are many maintenance-related problems in the society which are not being solved.”
There is no guest parking in the society
The builder wants to convert the green area in the society into guest parking, which the residents oppose. Residents say, “Compromise with the green belt is acceptable, even if the builder wants, he can make guest parking in the basement.”
High cost for power backup
Residents inform Apartment Times that the DG backup charges in the society are Rs 29 per unit which is much higher than all the nearby societies.
Premium society but poorly maintained
Residents say, “We purchased costly flats here, seeing the beauty of this project and the promises that were made by the builders. We are devastated to see that the society is lacking in maintenance work.”
No basic amenities
Frowned residents inform that most of the basic amenities like clubhouse, gym, indoor games, swimming pool and party hall, children’s play area exist nowhere.
‘I have no money‘ – Builder
Residents say, “Whenever we reach to have a word with a builder that our kids need a park, we need gym then always the builder makes the excuse of not having money. But does not give an account of maintenance fee recovery.”
‘Aastha Greens is in terrible condition‘
Residents allege that this not-so-old project is still lacking many things like there is no intercom in the lifts of the society and the condition of the cricket pitch and badminton court and net is very bad. There is a problem of leakage and seepage in the entire society which is likely to weaken the building. The society residents have asked the builder to immediately resolve all the problems otherwise the residents will protest on a larger scale.
