Greater Noida: Residents are alarmed by the ongoing incidents in a high-rise society in Greater Noida West. It is reported that on Saturday morning, there was yet another incident of plaster falling in the Panchsheel Greens-1 Society located in Sector 16 B. Previously, on Thursday night, plaster fell on a woman’s head. This is the second incident in three days, raising serious questions about construction quality.

Plaster fell from the 8th floor
Let us inform you that this incident occurred at the C-2 tower, where a large piece of plaster suddenly fell from the balcony of flat number 801. This piece landed directly on the tin shed constructed in the balcony of flat number 102. The plaster fell so hard that it broke the tin shed and caused a loud noise, creating panic in the surrounding area.

It sounded like an explosion, people got scared. Society resident Rajneesh said that the incident occurred in the morning when people were busy with their work. As soon as the plaster fell on the tin shed, a loud noise like an explosion was heard, which frightened the people nearby. He mentioned that decoration work had been done on the balcony, which got damaged. Additionally, in a nearby flat, people were having tea, and pieces of plaster fell on their balcony as well, causing them to be scared too.

Second incident in three days
Earlier, a plaster fell on a woman’s head near the B-2 tower on Thursday night, causing her an injury. With this being the second incident in three days, concern and anger among the residents of the society are increasing.

Conditions remain the same despite repairs
Resident Dev Kumar states that incidents of falling plaster have become common now. Repair work was done a while ago, but it has not proven to be durable. Now, news of plaster falling from some tower or the other is coming almost every day.

Local people say that the construction company and maintenance agency should immediately intervene in this matter. Strict action is being demanded against these incidents that pose a threat to people’s lives.
