Although both workers were wearing safety harnesses, the belts allegedly failed during the fall and could not prevent the fatal accident.

Panic at the construction site
The accident triggered panic among workers present at the site. Fellow labourers and project management personnel immediately launched rescue efforts. However, despite their attempts, the two workers could not be saved.
