Greater Noida: Incidents of air conditioners bursting are not stopping amid the rising heat. Many people have lost their lives in accidents caused by this. Recently, a similar incident occurred in Greater Noida, where a sudden AC blast set the entire house on fire. This incident took place in Sector Beta 1 of the Beta 2 police station area. On Wednesday night, a severe fire broke out in a house in Beta Sector due to an AC explosion. Fortunately, no one was injured in this accident, but the household belongings worth lakhs were reduced to ashes.
This incident occurred around 10:15 PM at night on the first floor of house number E-166 located in Sector Beta 1 under the Beta 2 police station area. This house is said to belong to Amit Kumar. After the blast in the AC, the fire spread rapidly and soon engulfed the entire house.
As the fire broke out, the people present in the house immediately came downstairs and safely exited. People present at the spot tried to extinguish the fire and immediately informed the fire department. On receiving the information, a fire truck reached the spot.
Firefighters managed to control the fire with great difficulty. Fortunately, no one was harmed during this time, although all belongings kept in the house were reduced to ashes due to the fire. District Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar stated that a fire broke out in a house on the first floor of Beta 1 Sector due to an AC blast. The fire brigade team reached the spot and extinguished the fire, and there is no news of anyone being injured in the accident.
