Greater Noida: A case has come to light of cyber fraudsters creating a fake Instagram account of ACEO IAS Medha Rupam of Greater Noida Authority. The IAS herself posted on X and warned.
IAS Medha Rupam is ACEO in the Greater Noida Authority. Some miscreant has created a fake ID on Instagram using her name and photo.
The ACEO has warned about the fake Instagram account from her X account and asked to report it. The ACEO has written on X, “Please report this fake Instagram profile which already has a lot of followers, which messages people in my name and asks for money. Beware of fraudsters. Thank you.” The ACEO has shared the link to the fake profile and asked to report it.
