Noida: Taking a step forward towards police infrastructure and modernization, Police Commissioner Gautam Budh Nagar Laxmi Singh inaugurated the newly constructed administrative building and residential building of Thana Sector-126 in Commissionerate Gautam Budh Nagar on June 04, 2025.
- Addressing the public representatives, representatives of various industrial organizations and traders, media, RWA / AOA members and the general public present on the occasion, Commissioner Laxmi Singh said, “We aim to make policing more accessible, transparent and practical for the citizens. Through this new building, we will provide better services and ensure a safe and dedicated work environment for the policemen.”
- The newly constructed building is furnished with many modern facilities, including a modern administrative office, women’s help desk, cyber cell, CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System) room, investigation room, lockup, maalkhana and restroom facilities. All these rooms are equipped with modern and better infrastructure and special efforts have been made towards using green energy, continuous power supply, high-speed internet facility and making the working process paperless.
- A residential building has also been constructed for the policemen in the newly constructed building, in which many better facilities have been provided to the policemen. In the new residential building, along with the comfort of the police personnel, proper arrangements have been made for sports to keep them stress-free. A mess has also been constructed in the building so that the policemen can get food on time.
- Special arrangements have been made for the convenience of visitors in the newly constructed building. A separate women’s help desk has been set up for women, where they can register their complaints or problems without hesitation. Apart from this, special attention has also been given to the seating arrangement and other basic facilities for the visitors. Adequate parking arrangements are also available.
- The Police Commissioner directed the officers to use this building with maximum efficiency and resolve the complaints of the citizens quickly. He also directed to ensure that all the policemen perform their duties with honesty and dedication.
- During the newly constructed building inauguration ceremony, 100 heat control helmets received by the traffic headquarters were distributed to the traffic police personnel by the Police Commissioner Madam, which will provide relief to the police personnel from heat waves during duty. Chowkidars appointed under the police station sector-126 area were met and honoured.
On this occasion, Additional Commissioner of Police Law/Order Rajiv Narayan Mishra, Additional Commissioner of Police Headquarters Ajay Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police Noida Yamuna Prasad, Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic Lakhan Singh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police Central Noida Shakti Mohan Awasthi and other police officers were present.
