Noida : Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Mrs. Laxmi Singh and supervision of DCP Women Safety Mrs. Manisha Singh, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police conducted a series of awareness programs as part of Mission Shakti 5.0, focusing on women empowerment and safety across various police station jurisdictions. The initiative aimed to educate local women, schoolgirls, and staff about women’s safety, cybersecurity, and government schemes designed for their protection.
During the campaign, the Mission Shakti team provided detailed information to female police personnel about the purpose, functioning, and services available at the Mission Shakti Centres established at police stations.
On 12th October 2025, ACP Women Safety Prashali Gangwar engaged with students of Ryan International School, informing them about police station procedures, helpline numbers, cyber fraud, and laws related to women harassment. The session also included a tree-planting activity to promote environmental conservation alongside awareness about safety and responsibility.
The program emphasized cyber security, proper use of social media, and digital literacy, teaching students and women to safeguard personal information online. Officers conducted interactive discussions on good touch, bad touch and domestic violence, and highlighted the importance of contacting police helplines in emergency situations.
In addition, the cybersecurity team visited schools and corporate offices to educate participants about potential online threats, safe internet practices, password protection, social media security, and preventive measures against online fraud and phishing. Employees were also briefed about cyber helpline numbers and other crucial resources to ensure immediate assistance and protection of personal and institutional data.
As part of Mission Shakti 5.0, women beat officers are actively visiting villages, towns, schools, colleges, bus stands, and other public places daily to raise awareness among girls and women. Pamphlets containing information on women-related issues and helpline numbers are distributed to ensure timely access to support and guidance.
Through this campaign, Gautam Buddh Nagar Police continue to reinforce the message of safety, empowerment, and responsible digital behavior, fostering a secure environment for women across the district.
