Aspiring candidates who wish to register for the GATE 2024 exam without incurring a late fee can complete and submit their forms through the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in
The GATE 2024 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 3 & 4 and 10 & 11, 2024.
Late application
From September 30 onwards, individuals can register for GATE 2024 until October 13 with a late fee. The late fee, amounting to an extra Rs. 500, will be applicable for those applying after September 29.

- Candidate’s photograph
- Candidate’s signature
- Valid Identity proof: The same ID must be carried to the exam- Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, College ID, Employee ID, and Driving License.
- Degree Certificate or Equivalent: Scanned copy of Degree Certificate, Provisional Certificate, or Certificate from the Head of the Department/Institute.
- Optional documents: Category Certificate, PwD Certificate, Dyslexic Certificate

How to Fill GATE Application Form 2024
Step 1: Register for GATE by visiting the official GATE website and access the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) portal at https://goaps.iisc.ac.in/register
Step 2: Fill Application Form with your personal details, educational qualifications, and preferred examination centers.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents: Upload the necessary documents as outlined in the application guidelines. This includes your photograph, a clear signature, a valid identity document, your degree certificate or equivalent, and any relevant category or disability certificates (if applicable).
Step 4: Proceed to make the payment of the GATE application fee. The fee amount varies depending on your category and the time of application (regular or late).
