New Delhi : In a spiritually momentous development, India has witnessed a first-of-its-kind devotional collaboration featuring former President of India, Hon’ble Ram Nath Kovind. For the first time in the nation’s history, a President and his family have collectively recited the sacred Jain “Namokar Mantra” in a specially produced video film.
The devotional video, titled “Mera Namokar”, was unveiled during the grand spiritual event “Mere Mahavir 2.0 – Mera Namokar”, organized on the 2552nd Nirvan Mahotsav of Lord Mahavir. The event took place at the prestigious Plenary Hall, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The film has been produced by the Bhagwan Mahavir Deshna Foundation. Directors of the Foundation Subhash Oswal Jain, Anil Kumar Jain, Rajeev Jain, and Manoj Kumar Jain, revealed that upon learning about the initiative, Shri Kovind expressed a personal interest in joining the project along with his wife and daughter.
This remarkable gesture marks the first-ever appearance of a former President of India and his family together in a devotional cinematic presentation. The video beautifully blends the sound, meaning, and spiritual vibrations of the Namokar Mantra in a modern yet reverent format. The audience at Bharat Mandapam responded with heartfelt applause and emotional reverence as the video was screened, creating an atmosphere of peace and spiritual energy.
CA Rajeev Jain, who conceptualized and played a key role in producing the film, shared that the objective of the project was to introduce the universal energy, history, and spiritual significance of the Namokar Mantra to a global audience through an inspirational cinematic experience.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram Nath Kovind said:
It is beyond words to express the joy my family and I felt while being part of this video. Chanting the Namokar Mantra together filled us with a new sense of energy and peace

Following the video launch, renowned devotional singer Vicky D. Parekh from Mumbai captivated the gathering with soulful Jain bhajans, turning the hall into a serene devotional space.
The three principles of Lord Mahavir Ahimsa (non-violence), Aparigraha (non-possessiveness) and Atma Shuddhi (self-purification) are the true mantras of life. By following these, we can spread peace and harmony in society.
Manoj Kumar Jain
