The Mumbai Crime Branch has officially taken over the ongoing investigation into the firing incident outside celebrity Salman Khan’s home, the city police have stated.
This occurs barely hours after the mafia group commanded by imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the shooting that occurred at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s house shortly before sunrise.

The actor’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, who is based in the US, has also called the incident the “first and last warning” for the actor, threatening that “the bullets won’t be fired at walls or an empty home” the next time, hinting that the star would be the target.Anmol wrote on Facebook on behalf of Goldy Brar, Rohit Godara, and Kala Jathari, other members of the “Bishnoi group,” stating that “they (the gang) seek only peace, but if justice from atrocity can be achieved only through war, then war is okay.”

Two unknown individuals had earlier on Sunday morning opened fire outside Salman’s home in Bandra. When Mumbai Police briefed the media about the incident, they noted that the accused’s two-wheeler arrival at the scene with their faces hidden by helmets gave the impression that the event had been well planned.
Fifteen teams from the Crime Branch were sent in to investigate the incident in detail.

The initial inquiry, according to the police, appeared to indicate that the firing by the individuals on bikes appeared to be a planned attack.

According to a top Mumbai Police officer, the culprit fired four shots in all, and a live cartridge was found nearby. According to the city police, they are looking into the fire event from every perspective and are in the process of identifying the suspects and tracking down their origins.

Following the event, senior Mumbai Police officers, led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, arrived at the scene.
