New Delhi: Bollywood stars Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar sparked a wave of cinematic nostalgia in the national capital today as they began the Delhi promotions of their upcoming courtroom drama Haq. The actors visited the Honourable Supreme Court of India — a symbolic and narrative centerpiece of the film — where they recreated the movie’s poster on the iconic steps of the court.

Haq draws inspiration from a landmark Supreme Court judgement from the 1980s, exploring the sharp conflict between personal law and secular law in India. The court’s premises, therefore, hold deep relevance to the central theme and emotional journey of the film.
The recreated poster unveiled during the promotional visit captures the intense moral dilemmas and dramatic essence that shape the storyline. The film’s gripping trailer, released earlier this week, has already elevated audience anticipation, hinting at a thought-provoking and powerful cinematic experience.
Produced by Junglee Pictures and directed by Suparn Verma, Haq delves into the intersections of justice, faith, and identity — questioning how legal decisions influence personal lives across generations.
Justice may take time, but it never leaves you alone. HAQ is a voice that sparks reform, and with this film, we revisit that once powerful judgement that ignited reform.

Recreating the Haq poster in front of the Supreme Court wasn’t just a visual moment, it was symbolic. The film is inspired from a landmark case that changed the course of justice in India, and standing there reminded us of the real stories that inspired it.
