
Greater Noida West: In a heartwarming display of patriotism, the Dynamic Veteran Welfare Association, an organisation of ex-servicemen from the region, came together to celebrate the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm.

The main ceremony was held at Dada Dadi Park in Gaur City 1, where veterans participated in the flag-hoisting and proudly saluted the tricolour. The gathering honoured India’s freedom fighters and paid heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives to protect the nation’s independence.”

The highlight of the event was the veterans’ march-past, which took place on the main road of Gaur City, drawing admiration from onlookers.
Association President, Surendra Singh Rawat, specially felicitated senior veterans for their service and dedication. In his address, he reiterated the Association’s commitment to participating in social welfare and awareness programmes, and encouraged more ex-servicemen to join the organisation to strengthen the cause of national and community service.
The event beautifully blended respect for the past, pride in the present, and a call for unity for the future.
