Noida: It was a moment of great pride for the Indian Red Cross Society, Gautam Budh Nagar branch, when its executive committee members and patrons were honoured in Lucknow by the Hon’ble Chairman of the Red Cross, Uttar Pradesh and the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Brajesh Pathak.
The honour was conferred in recognition of the outstanding humanitarian services rendered by the Red Cross Gautam Budh Nagar team and their exemplary performance during the Service Fortnight. The commendation recognised the team’s ongoing efforts in the fields of social service, disaster management, and humanitarian assistance throughout the district.
During the felicitation ceremony, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak appreciated the dedication, commitment, and selfless service of the Red Cross team. He lauded their contributions in disaster response and social welfare initiatives and encouraged them to continue working with the same zeal and sense of responsibility in the future.
On this occasion, the Red Cross Gautam Budh Nagar team also visited the State Red Cross Office in Lucknow, where detailed discussions were held regarding the organisation’s functioning, ongoing activities and future plans. The visit proved to be informative and instrumental in strengthening coordination and understanding of long-term humanitarian goals.
This recognition has emerged as a strong source of motivation for the Red Cross Gautam Budh Nagar team, inspiring them to further intensify their efforts in serving humanity with dedication and compassion.
