About the mop-up round
Delhi University is holding mop-up rounds for UG admission 2023 in order to fill its vacant seats for numerous programmes.
After the completion of all the regular rounds of admission, there are often some seats that remain vacant. Various reasons factor into this, such as students withdrawing their admissions, not accepting their allotted seats, or not meeting the eligibility criteria.
The mop-up round is an opportunity for students who have not yet been admitted to DU to get a seat.
The mop-up round is also an opportunity for students who may have missed out on admission in the previous rounds due to various reasons, such as scoring lower marks than expected, not being able to apply for admission in time, or not having enough information about the admission process.
Students who are interested in participating in the mop-up round need to register online and fill in their web options (choices of courses and colleges). The seat allotment is done based on merit and web options.
