
Greater Noida / Dadri : In a detailed press conference marking four years of his second term, Tejpal Singh Nagar presented an extensive report card of development in Dadri while also making key announcements on housing society audits, metro expansion and pending flat registrations. Positioning Dadri as a fast-emerging development model in Uttar Pradesh, the MLA said that over ₹3900 crore worth of infrastructure and public welfare works have been executed in the last four years, spanning health, roads, education, irrigation and power.
Massive investment drives transformation across Dadri
According to Tejpal Nagar, multiple authorities and schemes have contributed to an unprecedented inflow of funds into the constituency. The largest share came from the Greater Noida Authority, followed by the Noida Authority and the Public Works Department.
Key allocations :
- Greater Noida Authority – ₹2952.24 crore
- Noida Authority – ₹492.04 crore
- PWD – ₹164.53 crore
- MLA fund – ₹23 crore
- Other local allocations – ₹8.70 crore
The cumulative expenditure has crossed ₹3925 crore, which the MLA described as “historic” for the constituency.
Healthcare upgrade worth ₹205 crore
A major focus area has been healthcare infrastructure. Projects worth approximately ₹205 crore have been executed, including new hospital construction, upgradation of community health centres and expansion of medical facilities. Residents now have improved access to treatment within the region, reducing dependency on distant urban centres.
Roads, bridges and connectivity see a major boost
Road infrastructure has received ₹165 crore for construction, widening and strengthening. The MLA noted that better road networks have improved mobility and access to essential services. Additionally, bridges worth ₹9.43 crore have been constructed to strengthen rural and urban connectivity, easing transportation bottlenecks.
Irrigation and power improvements
To support farmers, irrigation works worth ₹4.76 crore have been carried out, including canal cleaning and repair. In the power sector, ₹1.77 crore has been spent on transformers, line expansion and system upgrades, improving electricity supply across the constituency.
Focus on education and youth
Education infrastructure has seen an investment of ₹93 crore, while ₹20 crore has been allocated to youth-oriented schemes, including skill development and employment-linked training initiatives aimed at boosting self-reliance.
AOA maintenance audit demand gains attraction
In a significant announcement impacting thousands of residents in Greater Noida West, the MLA revealed that he has requested Yogi Adityanath to initiate audits of maintenance funds managed by Apartment Owners Associations (AOAs).
Multiple complaints have been received alleging financial irregularities in maintenance handling by some AOAs. The way authorities undergo audits, similar annual audits should be mandatory for AOAs as well.

Metro project gets state approval, awaits centre nod
Addressing long-standing demands, the MLA confirmed that the metro project for Greater Noida West has received approval from the state government, including budget allocation. The project now awaits clearance and funding from the central government before work can commence.
Relief for homebuyers, 5000 flat registrations expected
In a major relief for homebuyers, the MLA announced that around 5000 flat registrations are expected to be completed soon. He clarified that all projects not stuck in National Company Law Tribunal proceedings will be prioritised for registry. Projects under NCLT remain subject to court directions.
Cremation ground project underway
Providing an update on civic infrastructure, the MLA confirmed that construction of a cremation ground in Greater Noida West has begun after sustained efforts and is expected to be operational soon.
