
Greater Noida: Panic spread across the locality after a sudden fire broke out in a house operating as a PG accommodation in Sector Beta-1 on Monday. The incident took place at House No. D-73, where a cooking gas cylinder reportedly exploded, triggering flames and chaos in the area.

Sudden blast creates panic
According to residents, the explosion occurred inside the PG facility, causing a loud blast that alarmed people in nearby houses. Within minutes, smoke and flames were seen rising from the building, leading to fear and confusion across the sector. Many residents rushed out of their homes, while others alerted emergency services.

Fire brigade and Police rush to the spot
Soon after receiving the information, fire brigade teams and local police reached the scene and began efforts to control the situation. Firefighters managed to bring the flames under control before the fire could spread to neighbouring houses.
Major disaster averted
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Authorities confirmed that all residents present in the building were safely evacuated in time, preventing a major tragedy.
