Cracked the MHA IB written test? Here are the next steps



IB JIO Exam 2023: The Ministry of Home Affairs has declared the result for IB JIO Tier 1 Examination 2023 on the official website at mha.gov.in. Candidates who have cleared the written exam can check more about the next round of the selection process here.
The IB Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ Technical (JIO-II/Tech) Examination 2023 (Tier-I) was held on July 22. Now, the authorities have published the list of candidates shortlisted for Tier-II exam. “Candidates would be intimated through email/SMS to download the call letters for Tier-II/III exam (indicating date, time, venue, relevant instructions, etc.) in due course,” reads the result notice.
Over 4,000 candidates have been shortlisted for the JIO Tier-II Examination 2023. The Intelligence Bureau aims to fill 797 positions through this recruitment drive.

The IB JIO result notice further reads, “While every care has been taken in the preparation of the aforesaid list, IB reserves the right to rectify the errors & omissions, if any, noticed subsequently. It may also be clarified here that mere passing the Tier-I exam or Tier-II/III exam does not confer any right to the candidate to claim his/her selection for the post. The final selection would be based on combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II & Tier-III exams, as mentioned in the detailed advertisement.”
IB JIO Tier II: Skill Test
The shortlisted candidates will now appear in the Skill Test, which is the second stage of the IB JIO selection process. It aims to evaluate the practical and technical abilities of the candidates that are required on the job. The skill test will carry a weightage of 30 marks.
The skill test is likely to take place in the month of November or December 2023. However, there is no official confirmation so far.
IB JIO Tier III: Interview Round
The final round in IB JIO Recruitment 2023 is the Interview stage. The goal of the interview/personality test is to check the suitability of the candidate for this job. The interview round will carry a weightage of 20 marks.
Pay Grade
Candidates who will be selected for the position of Junior Intelligence Officer will be entitled to a salary within Grade Pay Level-4, which encompasses a pay scale ranging from Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100.
