Greater Noida West : Cherry County witnessed a high-energy and fiercely contested Apartment Owners Association (AOA) Election 2025, concluding with jubilant celebrations across the community. After a week of intense campaigning and enthusiastic engagement from residents, the much-awaited results were declared late at night.
Team Sankalp emerged as the dominant force, winning 5 out of the 9 positions on the AOA council. Dr. Anuradha Roy secured a whopping 650+ votes, standing as the highest vote-getter and marking a decisive victory for the team. Following closely was Sujeet Sharma, with over 540 votes, maintaining strong support throughout the count.

The vote count stretched into the second day, with a nail-biting contest for the final council position. After multiple twists, Harendra Singh ultimately clinched the ninth seat in a dramatic finish.
Residents’ spirit: 72% voter turnout, 110% energy
The elections recorded a commendable 72% voter turnout, reflecting growing community engagement. Along with active voting, the event also served as a festive gathering where residents enjoyed continuous refreshments from kachoris and samosas to delicious lunch platters arranged by contesting groups.
Naari shakti: Women’s participation takes center stage
Seven dynamic women candidates contested this election, showcasing diverse expertise and strengthening the representation of women in community leadership. The residents applauded this positive shift toward greater inclusivity.
